Covering 5 cities, this summer, UK-China Film Collab is planning for the biggest British cinema showcase in China. Are you our ideal sponsor?

In 2019, UK-China Film Collab (UCFC) made our first appearance in China to promote British film talent  – we co-organised the biggest retrospective for Charlie Chaplin at the Hainan International Film Festival. Since then, we have been advocating here and there, about the necessity for the UK to increase its film culture presence in China. Unlike other European countries, so far, there is yet an established support mechanism to organise regular British cinema showcase in China. UCFC is the first independent organisation leading on such an initiative. It has also been active in delivering the #ukfilmsinchina social media campaign to increase awareness.

Between 2021 and 2022, with Xiaolian (Captain) joining us via our annual Future Talent Programme, we have been planning for the biggest British cinema showcase in China across 5 cities. The programme focuses on a specific theme that will appeal to an audience across all ages. We have now confirmed all the screening licenses for 8 films as well as a cinema chain partnership in China which will be the venue host.

We are trying a new, creative, and will-be-influential promotion strategy within our marketing campaign, which combines heartwarming engaging social media activity and eye-catching offline artistic activity.

Are you our ideal sponsor? This event will provide an excellent opportunity for brand exposure. Our estimate outreach target is 100K family oriented audience. British brands which are in China already or those which wish to enter the market will benefit from being exposed to our target audience. Chinese brands in the UK or those who wish to enter the UK market will benefit from a good press and public story.

We are only looking for one Headline Sponsor for this instance, are you the ideal one?

If you are interested in this opportunity, please be in touch!
