Film Data and Policy Between the UK & China

You can now catch up with the panel’s recording here.
This panel addressed an emerging topic which deserves urgent attention and exploration. It is the first panel on this important matter, not only specialised academics, but also experienced professionals in the film industry shared their ideas as speakers. The debate tried to answer many questions, such as: what are the gaps between the UK and China in terms of film data collection, data evaluation and data policies? What kinds of data utilisation strategies and data polices could China and the UK learn from each other? In doing so, the panel seeks the opportunities of Sino-UK business/academic collaboration in data evaluation and protection.
