The 12-day 47th Hong Kong International Film Festival (HKIFF47) draws to a successful conclusion with the world premiere of Vital Sign.

Joining star actor Louis Koo, director Cheuk Wan-chi, and producer Jacqueline Liu at two sold-out screenings tonight at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre’s Grand Theatre was the film’s star-studded ensemble cast, including Neo Yau, Angela Yuen, Locker Lam, Ng Wing-sze, Tony Wu and So Yuet-yin.

Meanwhile, Hong Kong International Film Festival Society Executive Director Albert Lee announced that the 48th edition of the festival will tentatively take place from 28 March to 8 April 2024, again for 12 days.

‘Our celebration of the late Jean-Luc Godard’s life and work, which we started with HKIFF47, will continue in Cine Fan’s May/June/July edition,’ Mr Lee said.  ‘This year’s Cine Fan Summer International Film Festival will return after a hiatus, and we will announce its dates later.’
