La La Land to hit Chinese screens again on 22 December ahead of Christmas, alas, not Love Actually.

When La La Land hit China, it created a wave of sensation among the audience. A re-release will certainly gain the film additional box-office record and this is also a sign for the market opportunities in China for classic re-releases.

Recent re-releases in the Chinese market include, Titanic (1997),  Porco Rosso (1991) and other Miyazaki repertoires.

Park Circus has been a leading company from the UK to license classic films to China’s festival and re-release market. It is expected that its business will continue to grow in China, to meet the rising demand from festival and theatrical retrospective curation.

La La Land‘s original release in China gained over £28 m box-office in total.
