UK-China Film Collab is excited to announce our new partnership with MILC Platform.

MILC platform aims to provide the industry with an open new marketplace for every professional and non-professional content provider and buyer that incorporates cutting-edge broadcast, blockchain and AI-technology which can become a game changer for the entire media content industry. It solves four fundamentally important challenges of the global media industry: Global availability, Discovery process for Buyers, Complex licensing, and Early feedback from viewers. MILC has been developed by Welt der Wunder, a media brand with 25 years experience in the business.

The partnership came after MILC’s senior licensing manager, Richard Flynn, attended an event conducted by UCFC in October on behalf of the MILC team. We are confident that this partnership will prove to be very fruitful for both parties. We will support MILC through our extensive network and promotions thus providing MILC greater exposure. We will be referring potential clients to the MILC Platform and thereby help increase its reach in new and bigger markets. MILC will also provide UCFC with space within their media metaverse to share and promote their research, news, educational tools, as well as offering the ability to host special events and screenings once its platform goes live!

This partnership aims at achieving the following crucial goals:

  • Establish a mutually beneficial relationship between the two parties, sharing the common goal to promote and encourage film related collaboration and debate between Greater China and the UK and across Europe.
  • Educate and inform the community through key research, publicity of industry trends and news.
  • Enhance business relations and collaboration between media professionals from Greater China, UK and Europe, particularly in the areas of co-production, co-financing, talent development, distribution and exhibition.

Richard Flynn, Senior Licensing Manager of MILC Platform, says

“I am delighted to partner with UK-China Film Collab. We recognise the valuable contribution Dr Hiu Man Chan and her team bring to the industry. Through our collaboration we hope to help promote awareness and support the global distribution of Chinese filmmaking.”

Dr Hiu Man Chan, Founder and Director of UCFC, says

“UK-China Film Collab is looking forward to embracing this innovative platform offered by MILC for our future projects and activities. We are also committed to introducing it to our old and new partners in China, and to encourage this exciting market to be even more connected with the world digitally.”
