The much anticipated British cultural icon Paddington in Peru is set to be released in mainland China on New Year’s day and Hong Kong from 29 January in 2025.
Yes, the Far East audience loves the cuddly bear, both the first and the second films did very well in the Chinese market. The first one grossed £10 million while the second one grossed £22 million box-office in mainland China.
We wish Paddington best of luck to his new adventure across cinemas in both mainland China and Hong Kong ahead. We have been supporting the film’s promotion voluntarily via our Chinese social media channels engaging the Chinese audience and will increase efforts and force closer to the release time.
In the meantime, if you are in the UK and you have yet seen the film, we do recommend you to go catch it at the cinemas while you can. Suitable for all ages.
Paddington and his adopted family, the Browns, decide to visit his aunt Lucy in Peru, but circumstances lead them towards misadventures in the Amazon rainforest and mountains of Peru. Directed by Dougal Wilson.
