Our partner Shanghai Art Film Federation opens the second Italian Film Masters Retrospective (October 23 – November 7) to meet local demand.
Italian films have always been very popular in Shanghai. In addition to the Shanghai International Film Festival, there has also been an annual showcase dedicated to the regional cinema in the city for the past few years. This year, the Italian cinema programme has been brought back for the second time to meet public demand. The programme has expanded to 9 classics. As soon the tickets were on sales, they were quickly sold out. Italian film producer Marco Müller was also present at one of the screenings.
Last year’s inaugural retrospective was highly successful, Over the years, the film federation has dedicated itself to making Chinese and foreign cinema more accessible.
