Czech-Chinese co-production Till Love Do Us Part was part of Odyssey 2023’s Official Selection and received its UK Premiere in St Ives as our GALA screening. The arthouse co-production will return to the UK once again, as part of this year’s Cambridge Film Festival. It also received its Asian Premiere at the Pingyao International Film Festival last week.
Till Love Do Us Part was also selected for Film London’s 2021 Production Finance Market – New Talent Strand.

Middle-class professor Shu seemingly has it all. With a successful career and a wedding on the way, from the outside she seems to have the perfect life. On a work excursion to Prague, she meets bohemian theatre director Fan and her comfortable, if uninspiring life, is turned upside down. As Fan says, ‘the script of life changes all the time’, and Shu’s life transforms in ways she didn’t believe was possible. Til Love Do Us Part thoughtfully explores love, heartbreak and one woman’s road to finding herself in modern Chinese society.
