After voting by the previous members, Zoe Xu has been selected to join UK-China Film Collab as a new member via the organisation’s Future Talent Programme 2024-2025.
“A Goldsmiths graduate, an emerging film critic, journalist and a big cinephile. I write film reviews and I plan to launch a new column on the UK-China Film Collab official website, called “China Lens”, dedicated to reviewing more arthouse, independent and commercial films that spotlight Chinese culture. Meanwhile, I plan to attend International film festivals and compile news and reviews in 2025. In addition, I will support the organisation’s social medias, including contributing to its ongoing campaigns such as #UKfilmsinChina, to capture how classic and new British films are performing in the Chinese market offline and online.”
